Allen had his birthday on the 22nd, he has been at work so much (more at work than at home) that we planned two different dinners for him, on his birthday we went and got "Chineesse Take~Out" well he didn't get home till after 9 that night so we planned again for Sunday dinner, this is pretty sad when you hear this part; that morning he left at 7:30 to go run off the ward sacrament/bulletin and went in his work clothes and took his Sunday Suit in tow so he could go to work till 9am when Bishopric Mtg. started, he said he changed into his sunday clothes in the power plant parking lot in his truck! Stayed till sacrament meeting was over(he's conducting this month) and then changed his clothes and went back out to work and came home after 9 again that evening. He told me monday morning that he was a bit "bummed" at missing his birthday party two times and hadn't even seen any of the kids or grandkids except at church before meetings started. So now everyone knows how our simple empty nesters life is, I'm just the only one at home, thank goodness for everyone that comes by to visit Grammy.The above pictures were taken when we went to Logan to visit Blaine and Amy and Logan, Allen really liked this tractor!
