The Men in My Life...
How can you sit down an put into words how Men have influenced your life?
The first of course would be my father. "Dodd" that's what everybody called him. He was a hard working very honest man. I was just past 19 when he died and yes I was daddies girl. I know he loved me and he always will! "Watching at heavens window, waiting at heavens gate."
The next man of course would be me grandpa! When I smell tar from the road I think of him. odd you think, no, He drove a "Laydown Machine" for road construction, the first one in the state of Az. he said there wasn't a road in Arizona he didn't help build. he also worked on the Glen Canyon dam. Such an amazing man. I am the oldest granddaughter born to him and named for the woman he loves still in Eternity, I know they are together ,my grandmother Alice.
I couldn't speak of men and not include Layne my big brother, he knows I love him.And I know he loves me. Hey "He aint heavy (anymore) he's my brother."

Now for Allen's father Virgil Sr. ,the man was so great, fun and enjoyable to spend time with, welcomed me to the family, and I loved him because Allen Is the Awesome father that he is because of the example of this man. He loves his parents so much and I do too! what's left to say...

My life would not be the same if Allen was not a part of it. The beautiful father and grandfather that he is, is an admirable quality, that his daughters and sons are forever grateful for the father they have is truely one of my greatest gifts from my Father in Heaven. I am So blessed because of the Men in my life!!!
