YeeHaw Cowboys

These pictures aren't in very good order, oh well, last Thursday morning Allen and I headed for Las Vegas to watch two nights of the rodeo, he had a friend give him tickets, he has always wanted to go! It is about a six hour drive and the slowest part is the construction over Hoover Dam. The last time we went to Vegas was about 27 years ago. The water line is soooo low at the dam, and the other pictures are of the new bridge being built over and above the dam, this project was started in 2003 and was to be completed in 2008, they have the other parts of the road and other bridges completed so this is the last one, it is so high up , I'm afraid if we ever return to Vegas and when this last bridge is done I will keep my eyes closed the whole time we would be crossing on it , it is UNBELIEVABLE!!! We had an great time , Thursday night the rodeo, and Friday morning we went to the Las Vegas Temple and did a session, then we headed to "Cowboy Christmas" and then over to the rodeo again, we ate at Planet Hollywood for dinner Great Food! Saturday morning headed home such a nice little vacation for us:)
