Allen and I started steady dating 35 years ago on April 28th . High School sweethearts still! But now ~Forever Sweethearts.
Last summer when we were in Hawaii at a Luau they were acknowledging couples that were having their 25th wedding anniversaries that year. Allen and I both said to each other "25 add a few more years to that!"
We have been so blessed. Time goes by so quickly. Falling in love with your best friend an working at " Happily ever after and Together Forever" is a job in itself. It has been an awesome adventure, with no regrets at all. We were young and life is never easy, but we are still enjoying each other, with the added joy of our children and now our grandchildren, what more could you ask for, (even though Allen would say a "John Deer". )
Marrige is something that we all have to work at, give 110% of yourself. Make the Lord your partner also, keep those covenants you each made, and you will always be grateful for the choice you made. I know I am!!

One thing that I can still say is Allen still looks at me like this, he still has that love in his eyes that hasn't changed a bit.
New survey out today. If your spouse smiled years ago they are probably still married, well were still smiling after all these 35 years!
sorry I'm so mushy , still twitter-patted!
I Love you Allen!
Forever Terri Alice oooxxxxxxoooooooxxxxxx:)

not too mushy at all... i love it! and, I am so happy for you.
Wow Terri of course I remember you two! I've always thought a lot of you guys and I'm so glad you found our blog spot. It's hard to believe you guys have been together for 35 years that is awesome! What surprises me is how fast time gets by us. I noticed you have one daughter named Kourtney Dawn and another named Jessica and I have a daughter named Jessica Dawn. We ended up with six kids. Four girls and two boys. As you have read we have had some hard times lately. I really don't know what I would have done without the Gospel in my life. I'm so glad I moved to Joe City in 1973. Those 5 years I went to school there changed my life forever. I know the Heavenly Father led me to Joe City. It was good to hear from you and I look forward to keeping in touch.
LOL Sorry my comment was all over the place. It's been a rough month and it's past my bed time. :)
